What type of identification is required when applying for membership with the credit union?
Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
As such, when you open an account, we will ask for this information:
- Your name
- Street address
- Date of birth
- Taxpayer Identification Number
- A valid ID
Acceptable valid identifications are:
- Driver's license
- State identification
- Military identification
- Passport
Your identification must contain a photo and:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Resident street address
- Place of issuance
- Identification number
- Issue date
- Expiration date
